Internship Review

How did you hear about/get it? Geography department announced in class that 2 professor were hiring for a short term research project (70 hours total).
Daily tasks Developing maps, data input from gathered field data, conducted field trip to collect student feedback
Best part of the job? The flexibility, the feeling of making an actual input into the research, and the exposure to research methods.
Worst part of the Job? Nothing really... mindless data input is never the most fun, but comes with the territory of the job...
Additional Comments/Advice to others Most professors, especially at Virginia Tech, are passionate about their research and also care about their assistants and the learning experience that comes with it.
