UltimateIntern.com is a
resource where interns can reviews their past or current internships,
and really describe how their experience went. Others can then view
these reviews and ratings and use this info to guide themselves towards
the right internship. Some internships pay great, some internships work
the hell out you but teach you a lot, and some internships are just
plain terrible.
The
'rate my' model isn't new or groundbreaking, but it definitely has been
shown to be a popular and useful tool online. What's key is that
UltimateIntern.com takes it one step further and has the reviewers add
their input in text fields describing tasks, likes, dislikes and such.
This way you get a more comprehensive review and idea of how the
internship was. Other sites just have a few 1-5 rating's questions...so
a potential review is: Internship learning-4, Did you enjoy it-3, Would
you recommend-3. Um, super insightful right?
This blog will provide the what's new on the site and also news in general about internships.
